Course Details
Provide experienced staff with additional skills that will allow them to provide professional customer service on a consistent basis with the aim of consistently exceeding customer expectations. 
Who should attend?
Any person with frontline experience in customer service, or who interacts with internal or external customers

Course Objectives
On completion of this course participants will be able to:
  • Lift and handle loads safely
  • Recognise a load which is too heavy or awkward

Course Programme
  • RSA Training

    Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) Online training is carried out either as an 90 minute e-learning programme or a 3 hour on-site group workshop. It provides participants with the knowledge and confidence to handle difficult situations surrounding the service of alcohol and most importantly to deal with customers in a safe and lawful manner.     Course Content:        


  • Intoxicating Liquor Act
  • Prevention of alcohol sales to under 18s/ Age Card
  • Refusal to serve alcohol to intoxicated customers
  • Handling difficult people & situations
  • Staying in Control - Developing a House Policy
  • Facts about alcohol and its effects on the body
  • Your Responsibilities – Techniques on Monitoring your Bar Area
Methods of training
This course combines lecture methods with “hands-on” practical work with different types of materials.

Pre-Course Requirements: None

Assessment/Certification:
Each participant will be assessed on their practical manual handling techniques.
A completed manual handling assessment form for each participant will be supplied to their employer.

Please let us know if participants have any specific learner requirements.

Duration: 1 Day (

Maximum No of Participants: 16 per Session
